6 months! I can’t believe it’s been that long! All that creativity (huh?) stoppered, isn’t that sad! And before you ask me what I’d been doing for so long, let me tell you. I have not the damndest idea(sorry for the language folks!)!
But in my defense, I haven’t had a laptop for the last 6 months. At least, not one which allows me access to my blog! Six whole months without a laptop or desktop or anything remotely connected to anything computer-y..! Yeah, I know, I’m a wonder amn’t I? Well, what can I say… I’m a Survivor!
So anyway! The last you heard was I’d been to Hyderabad for my new joining. It turned out to be a huge success, thank you for asking. Two wonderful months of midnight burn-the-oil studying and training, bleary-eyed classroom sessions, frolicking weekends, pre-dawn laughter and conversations shared with new-found friends… It was like college all over again!
And then four long months followed. The honeymoon phase as they (whoever the ‘they’ are!) was over, and the bench period began..! Gosh, d’ya know, I was almost inspired to write a story on the travails of bench-suffering folks?! It’s TERRIBLE! Make the ‘T’ in that Bold! But as the sentence goes, almost is a key word…
Oh, never mind about that now! ‘coz more importantly than all that, I got three sisters married off! Two cousins and one my very own.,.! And yes, I got them married off, especially my sister. If you don’t believe me, ask them if they’d get married without my presence.
And, ahem, I might make an important announcement myself one day here. Soon.
So, yeah, that’s it from my side for now. Oh sure, I’ve got loads more to write about. Like how my boss has nose hair which I daydream of her braiding every single day, and the quality of water at Hyderabad that has my hair turned into a sort of meshed net to catch tiny flies. I’d love to write about the traffic police I met the other day who…
Well, let’s just leave it for another day, shall we?
Until my next announcement, People, take care, all of you! This is Peridot (unfortunately) signing out on her last day at home before she leaves for Hyderabad again…
