Gosh! The wildest things can happen in the blink of an eye! Just how crazy can I get? Well, here’s a short example.
In the span of a single week, I got my hair chopped off to a short bob and followed it up with a straightening, making it pin-tight straight. And then a weekend filled with horrific shopping, after which I willfully lost my credit card (it’s lying at the bottom of something, somewhere back at my apt). And of course, sprinkle this with a generous topping of binge eating!!! So yes, I pulled down about 10pounds in 10 months and put about half of it back on in one month..!!!
If not for my two faithful buddies dragging my lazy bottom to places away from the sofa and the mall, I would have been the most pathetic sight you ever saw today!
BUT unfortunately, thanks to those two devils in disguise, I’ve been busy watching TWO horror movies in the span of less than ONE month, both of which scared the fudgities of out me (and if you don’t know what fudgities means, I can’t help you. I don’t know either)!!! And even more wretched than this, one of those movies was Raaz..!! Can you freaking believe it?! I actually became so scared in between, that my platter of nachos flew into the air and rained me and (most of the) people in my row with salsa sauce!
Needless to say, I wasn’t allowed to carry any snacks with me when I went to watch 1920 Evil Returns (through half of which I had a scarf wrapped around my face and muffs in my ears)..!! Shameful of me, I know..
Which reminds me. Zazzy. Dr Sheldon Cooper has had a huge effect on me. His discovery of mundane, everybody-already-know things have made me look at the world with new eyes. His super-genious-mind-games have made me keener to understand the eccentricities of the world we live in. And of course, his girlfriend Annie has re-instated in me the hope that everybody has a perfect partner waiting for them. You just have to dig through loads of crap before you get there, that’s all!
And I know, it’s been 10 months, and this is only my second post. Don’t worry Khandu, I’ll get to the interesting airplane-buddy I met in my last post. Can’t keep you hanging!!!
So all ye faithful, keep reading, and stay happy! Happy Diwali to you all!!!
