Don't these men read FB? Half the posts are about men complaining that ladies dress to impress other ladies. Why give yourself importance and think we dress up for you?

A man who hurts a woman because she was trying to protect her boyfriend is a coward. Sexually assaulting her and beating her up does NOT make you any less of a coward.

A man who fights for the woman he loves is worthy of respect. A maniac who beats up that man is worthy of being crushed under horse hooves.

To all those people out there who said it that women ask to be raped, go stuff it. When you get mugged or robbed when showing off your new rolex or that gorgeous necklace, I'll say you asked for it. 

Just because I wear a dress or skinny jeans, I'm not non-traditional. I still know my culture and to respect my elders and to sing the prayer songs. I have a prayer block at my home, and I never say no when someone offers to apply Sindur on my face.

How many of the rapists and so-called culturists who claim that women who're raped 'ask for it' and 'deseve it coz they're wearing skimpy clothing' know their culture really? Wearing orange dhotis and chanting hymns at a football ground gathering does NOT make you pious or traditional. It's just a publicity gimmick.

A woman has many shades, and she has every right to portray every one of them. Why should I live a half-life? If I can restrict myself to be a fillial daughter who obeys all the limits placed by her parents, if I can be a sweet sister who relentlessly gives to her siblings, if I can be a hard-working employee who does not shirk from work, if I can be a good friend who is always there for her friends...

Then I have every right to be the woman that I am, and if that means I wear jeans and skirts and high heels, and that I have non-female friends, and that I stay out late for a movie, so be it!

God told me He would not judge me till the end of my days. Who gave you the right to do so now?
